This is a Non TSO'd radio. |
The IC-A210 has an organic light emitting diode (OLED) display.
The OLED display emits light by itself and the display offers
many advantages in brightness, vividness, high contrast, wide
viewing angle and response time compared to a conventional
display. In addition, the auto dimmer function adjusts the
display for optimum brightness at day or night.
When connected to an external GPS receiver (Like the Garmin
GPS296) , the frequency data for nearby airports can be transferred
and made available in the IC-A210.
Memory channel selection and exchanging of the USE and STBY
window frequencies can also be accomplished with remote switches.
Hence, you can set these switches into the most convenient
positions.
The advanced IC-A210 covers 118.000 - 136.975 MHz continuously
in 25 kHz tuning steps. A total of 760 communication channels
are available.
The dual watch feature alows reception on the USE and STBY
frequencies at the same time.
